(Our Statham’s Landing entry flag will be at half-staff tomorrow, September 11th, and I would encourage all to put their flags out as well!)
Someone ran into the Statham’s Way left-hand, outgoing stop sign earlier this week. Fortunately, there was a truck across the street whose driver witnessed the whole thing, and got a license plate and description of the vehicle and driver. The situation is being handled as a hit and run and the wrecked sign is behind the entryway sign. It is being filed as an official complaint against the driver so that his insurance will cover the cost of replacing the stop sign/do not enter post. MTF
Tidal Wave’s generosity is amazing since they are once again hosting Charity Day at their three locations. The wash site on Lake Joy will benefit the Alzheimer’s Association, which Statham’s Landing has given amazing support, thank you. In fact for 2021, through your support to the Run 2 End Alzheimer’s we gave the Association $37,599.91, and we hope Charity Day will allow us to reach our $40,000 goal, but we need your help and your vehicle!
Please forward to your family and friends and plan to wash your vehicle September 17th at the Lake Joy location, the best car wash in town!!!

Yesterday afternoon there was a post on the Statham’s Landing Friends facebook page by Laura Leigh George (217 Fairways) along with the attached picture of missing SOPHIE. She is a black labradoodle puppy with a pink collar and “overly friendly”.
As of this morning, she still has not been found.
For those of you who may not have heard……………
Sophie was found and returned to her family…………….Launie
