Early Voting Information
In case you would like to vote early (before 8 Nov), the following places and times will be open for early voting. Unlike the past, if you have received an absentee ballot, you can no longer turn that in on election day. However, if you want to turn in the blank absentee ballot and vote in person, please do so. Also, please check to make sure you know at which precinct you are to be voting and go there. That can be found on your voter registration card or by going to www.mvp.sos.ga.gov .
In addition to the offices being filled, there are four referendums for which to vote – two are Georgia State Constitution amendments and two are statewide referendum questions. Sample ballots are available at the Board of Elections or www.mvp.sos.ga.gov .
Locations are open the same days and times. Locations are:
- Board of Elections

Fishing Prohibited
Please remember that fishing in the ponds is prohibited unless it is being done from a property owner’s yard with the property owner’s permission. There are several reasons, but primary reasons are liability and we do not know what chemicals are leaching into the water from people’s yards and the golf course. Thank you!
Bi-Annual Community Yard Sale is THIS SATURDAY!

Burning
As patio fire pits and outdoor fireplaces grow in popularity, so does backyard burning. Our homeowners enjoy fire pits and outdoor fireplaces for warmth and recreation. Statham’s Landing residents are allowed to burn cleanly, safely, and responsibly in fire pits and outdoor fireplaces designed for this. OPEN burning (to include burning of leaves) is prohibited by the the covenants at all times. OPEN burning adversely impacts air quality, community aesthetics, the enjoyment of life or property by others and could possibility affect the health and well-being of someone.
